Description
With our Quarter Sawn Oak Shaker, you’ll have a beautiful yet distinctive cabinet look thanks to its unique grain pattern. The white oak wood is cut perpendicular to the annular rings (a process known as ‘quarter sawing’), showing beautiful reflective spots called ‘flecks’ that produce a dramatic effect. This solid wood also has a warm almond tone with deeper brown grain patterns which is perfect for achieving an elegant and inviting kitchen, bathroom, closet, or room.
The grain pattern adds a hint of texture to the surface, creating an organic feel that is pleasing to touch and handle. Quarter Sawn Oak Shaker’s deeper brown grain patterns also add a pop of visual interest. The material is a great choice for those that want classic-looking cabinets with an eye-catching element.
Please note: Wood shaker samples ship as a cross section of a door, not as a full door. Solid wood shaker doors have 2.25″ wide rails and stiles and 3/8″ solid panels. Drawers 5″ or less are made using a solid wood (flat panel) slab with horizontal grain. All doors and drawers are manufactured with vertical grain on their inset panels. All cover panels, toe-kicks, and deco strips will be “slab style,” which are made out of real wood veneer with coordinating edge banding.
