Our Roots

The Cabinet Face was founded in 2015 by Kyle Kwiatkowski and William Wolff in Denver, Colorado, two woodworkers who had been working for other companies for years and always wanted to be able to afford what they made. When Kyle found out that you could buy just the boxes and hardware from IKEA, it sparked the idea to use their woodworking expertise to create high-quality custom fronts and make them accessible to everyone. Fast forward to today, The Cabinet Face continues to grow and increase efficiency in our manufacturing system, allowing us to retain quality while putting out 500+ projects a year.

Our Products

The Cabinet Face’s products are 95% USA-made, often right here in our home state of Colorado. We carefully select materials that support and encourage quality over quantity while providing sensible price points for our customers. Not only are we serious about our products, but our service too. Customers have described our level of service as unmatched and one-of-a-kind because we genuinely care about the success of each project that comes to us.

Our Commitment

We love introducing our customers to the pleasure of craftsmanship at a price they can afford because nothing energizes us like their joy when they realize they can achieve a kitchen, bathroom, or closet design they had thought before was out of reach. From the first day we opened our doors, The Cabinet Face remains committed to bridging the gap between high-end design and mass production because we believe that everyone has the right to craftsmanship and beauty in their homes.

Our Team

We’re a team of designers, woodworkers, and furniture makers united by a love for intelligent home design and customer satisfaction. While custom fronts for IKEA cabinet systems are what we make, without the support of a hand-selected team of passionate people, The Cabinet Face wouldn’t be what it is today. What inspires us is bringing our passion into customers’ lives, making a real difference to the way they live, and doing it with social and environmental responsibility with help from partners who share our values.

So glad to have found The Cabinet Face as we were not happy with any of the Ikea cabinet fronts. We love the results.... Timeliness was great. Being able to pick up the product saved us money. We have had tons of compliments on the shaker quarter sawn oak product.read more

The fronts we ordered from The Cabinet Face gave our kitchen the high-end look we wanted at less than half the cost of... custom cabinets. I was very impressed with the quality of the products. We ordered samples from several other IKEA cabinet door companies, and the quality of The Cabinet Face's products really stood out. The ordering process was very easy and quick, including some custom fronts we needed for a separate built in. We could not be happier with how everything turned out.read more

We used door fronts from the Cabinet Face with IKEA base cabinetry for our kitchen project. The Cabinet Face team was... extremely helpful and responsive, working with our designer to lay out orders and cost out various alternatives for us.The materials and workmanship are absolutely beautiful, and you would never know our cabinets weren't fully custom built. The process is a bit slow, since the doors are made to order, but it was worth it for the high end look!read more

I recently completed a fairly complicated kitchen and laundry room remodel and used The Cabinet Face for my cabinet... fronts. I used the matte acrylic fronts and think they are a solid well-made product and reasonably priced. Overall, I was impressed by the CF team as well. They were very attentive and did a great job working through a number of the customization details we needed during the design process. I really appreciated the thorough review they gave to my plans before we submitted the final order. The delivery was on on time and without error.read more

I haven’t redone my kitchen, but I know exactly where I’ll be going if I ever need some IKEA cabinet fronts. Full... disclosure, I used to work here before I moved states, but I have to say this is a really fantastic team. TCF produces made-to-order fronts and everything is done right there in Colorado (minus the actual growing of the wood). It’s a small, local company that actively cares about making sure clients are happy and that their kitchens (and bathrooms, and closets) look beautiful. Where else would the cofounder call you to discuss the end panel length on your kitchen island, or check to make sure you’ve got the right trim pieces for your plan? Kyle, William, Sarah and the rest of the crew consistently go above and beyond to deliver a high quality product with exceptional customer service. And let’s talk about the product! One thing I kept hearing over and over from people who were comparison shopping TCF with other companies was that when they got all the sample materials in the same room, there was no contest. TCF is one of the few places that does grain matched wood in any grain direction, or offer acrylics so scratch resistant you can leave acetone on it and it’ll wipe right off. The materials they’ve got are just so darn gorgeous I never had an answer when someone asked me what my favorite was. It was too hard to pick just one! (I think a lot of clients felt the same way, because we did a lot of multi-material kitchens.)I really have nothing but nice things to say about The Cabinet Face. Seriously! The kind of integrity I’ve seen there is incredible. One time, a shipping company screwed up and damaged a door (something that is nearly impossible to do- the production team spends literally over an hour on most orders strapping and wrapping and insulating. I could stand on their finished pallets and jump up and down and have no impact.) When the client let us know about the damage, Kyle and William, who were already doing the jobs of three people each, carved out enough time in their schedules to remake the damaged piece as a rush job. The shipping company wouldn’t admit it was their fault or pay for the replacements. Kyle and William didn’t wait for the long, uphill battle with the shipping company’s insurance. They paid for the part AND to ship it out to the client as quickly as possible, just because it was the right thing to do.I can’t recommend TCF enough. If you’re in the market for something to spruce up your IKEA cabinets, you can stop looking. These guys will absolutely take care of you.read more
